During the final battle of Chapter Four in The Enduring War, the party enters an ancient hidden Mortificer laboratory, and is given the option to sacrifice one of their members to take control of some of the Morthagi units.
Choices
1(see note). "It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make."
Outcome The hero pictured in the panel is permanently fused with the Heart. Party gains control of 3 bellhops.
2. "No, it's not worth it."
Outcome Party fights the battle as they are.
Note: there are up to three options to sacrifice a hero. The last option is the only one that does not sacrifice a hero.
